Frequently Asked Questions

What exactly is IPL? How does the Bellebi Beauty device work?

IPL stands for intense pulsed light, which is a type of light therapy that, like a laser, is used for a variety of dermatological treatments, including permanent hair removal.

Our IPL device, like all other light-based hair removal treatments, works by emitting a wavelength that targets the pigment in the hair. The pigment in the hair absorbs the light, which converts to heat, which kills the hair development cells. After each treatment, hair will regrow sparsely and slowly, permanently reducing hair growth.

Is Bellebi Beauty IPL hair removal safe? Can it cause cancer?

Many clinical trials have been undertaken to prove the safety and efficiency of IPL for hair removal. As a result, it has grown in popularity as a safe and effective method of hair removal at home and in clinics.

In short, IPL hair removal is a very safe treatment, and our device offers no risks to the user if used as directed! For safe use, it is FCC, CE, and RoHs approved.

Our device ensures that all UV rays are blocked by filtering wavelengths below 470 nm from the IPL spectrum. This is the standard that most IPL systems use. This is done to prevent light from harming the skin's outer layer, meaning your device will never cause long-term UV-related concerns including skin cancer, aging, and so on.

Is the IPL Pro Hair Removal device safe for home use?

Absolutely!

IPL (Intense Pulsed Light) is a popular, well-researched option for long-term hair removal. We use UV filters to protect your skin from harmful UV rays.

Can I use IPL for Brazillian?

Yes. IPL is suitable for treating the entire bikini area including the bikini line, mons pubis, labia majora, and perineum. So, if you want a Brazilian you surely can.

The inner thighs and buttocks should be treated with the lower setting to avoid discomfort as this skin is more pigmented and therefore more sensitive to IPL.

IPL should never be used on the labia minora vagina or anus because it is not ideal for the "inner portions" of the bikini area. Laser hair removal is a painless procedure that is suitable for practically all skin types and requires no downtime.

Itching, redness, and swelling around the treatment region as well as swelling of the hair follicles are all common side effects of IPL hair removal.

The negative effects may be relieved by using cool compresses and Aloe Vera gel.

IPL hair removal isn't just for women; men can use IPL hair removal on any region of their bodies as well. IPL hair removal is safe, effective, and provides long-term results.

Is it safe for pregnant or breastfeeding women?

IPL is safe for most people but is not suitable for everyone. Although there is no evidence showing that IPL has negative effects on pregnant or breastfeeding women, to be safe we still don’t recommend using our Bellebi Beauty IPL Pro Hair Removal device.

Does it hurt?

Nope! Unlike other types of hair removal, IPL is basically painless — and it leaves you feeling like a babe.

The good news is that most people don't experience any discomfort at all—so you can sit back and relax during your IPL session at home. If you have sensitive skin, though, we recommend sticking with a lower intensity level so that the treatment feels as gentle as possible.

This means we have 1 to 5 intensity levels to choose from, allowing you to find the one that is most comfortable for you. In our user guide, we also have simple steps for establishing the ideal intensity level for you and when to progress to greater intensities for better results.

When will I start seeing results?

Hair gradually becomes thinner and softer after just 3-4 treatments, provided you treat the same area each time.

You may notice hair growth slowing with a gradual decrease in hair growth after 12 uses.

Are results permanent?

Yes! The Bellebi Beauty IPL Pro delivers long-lasting hairlessness.

However, results differ from person to person. You can always use your IPL Pro for touch-ups if you detect areas of hair sprouting back over time!

Where can I use my IPL Pro?

Almost everywhere!

IPL Pro can be used on unwanted body hair on your legs, arms, bikini area, face, and anywhere else.

However, if you're going to use IPL Pro on your face, keep it below the cheekbones.

Why have I never heard of this before?

We've been saying it all along!

We believe it'll only be a matter of time before people stop shaving because the home-use IPL Pro Hair Removal device is a relatively new but well-studied technology that's fundamentally altering the hair-removal market.

Does Bellebi Beauty IPL work for my skin tone and hair color?

Due to the presence of a hair pigment known as melanin, IPL is good at removing body hair. This absorbs the device's light energy and directs it to the hair follicle, removing hair and limiting future growth.

Darkly pigmented skin, on the other hand, has more melanin than lighter skin tones, allowing more energy to be absorbed. Individuals with dark skin tones are more susceptible to burns as a result of treatment. This might not apply to all people with darker skin tones. (To see if IPL is right for you, look at the skin tone chart below.)

This means that IPL may not work on very light blonde, red, or grey hair. This should work for you if the base of your hair is brown or black. The process may take longer to take effect on dark blonde roots, but it will work with patience and persistence, and any shade darker will work perfectly!

To see if IPL is suitable for you, look at the skin tone chart below.

Does IPL lighten skin?

The light emitted during IPL therapy also breaks down the dark pigment inside age spots and freckles, creating a more even skin coloration.

Based on the customers' feedback who personally use this device and in their observation it lightens the underarm and bikini area.

Does it have a warranty?

Our Bellebi Beauty IPL Pro comes with 12 month parts warranty and 3 months replacement warranty.
